Role Summary

The Patient Navigator position is an onsite contract-to-permanent opportunity focused on helping patients move smoothly through ClearCardio’s preventive cardiac care process. In this role, you will explain services, arrange diagnostic visits, and make sure each patient understands the next steps in their care pathway.

You will be the main day-to-day contact for patients, responding to questions, easing concerns, and helping them get ready for imaging and follow-up appointments. The position also involves keeping records accurate, working closely with clinical and administrative staff, and assisting patients in interpreting risk reports and treatment guidance. Success in this role depends on clear communication, compassionate support, and dependable follow-through to create a positive and well-informed patient experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to support patients through navigation, including coordinating care, booking appointments, and managing follow-ups.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with active listening and the ability to educate patients clearly.
• Foundational healthcare understanding, ideally with exposure to cardiology or preventive medicine, plus comfort discussing diagnostic tests and risk factors.
• Comfort using digital systems and remote collaboration tools such as electronic records, secure messaging platforms, and virtual meeting software.
• A professional, empathetic, and culturally aware approach when interacting with people from different backgrounds.
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle several patients and tasks at once.
• Prior experience in a clinic, outpatient center, or health navigation environment is a strong advantage.
• Education in health sciences, public health, nursing, social work, or a similar area, or equivalent practical experience.

This is a contract role based onsite in the United States, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
