Job Overview
The Partner Alliance Manager for the META region will spearhead the commercial growth in Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemicals, Metals, and Mining sectors using GE Digital’s leading Asset Performance Management and Operations Performance Management solutions. This role focuses on establishing a strong foundation for operational reliability, decarbonization, and energy transition. Reporting to the Global Leader of Channels and Alliances, the position involves building and managing strategic partnerships and reseller relationships within the META region.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop in-depth knowledge of each regional partner’s organization, priorities, communication styles, and risk factors to maximize long-term partnership success.
- Engage across multiple organizational levels including senior executives, engineers, sales, marketing, and training personnel.
- Manage and nurture a pipeline of partner-generated opportunities to convert them into sales for both partners and GE Vernova.
- Create and implement mutual business plans per partner outlining goals and key metrics such as sales targets, training, implementation projects, and customer success stories.
- Publish regular performance scorecards for each partner and address any barriers to success.
- Prioritize opportunities in alignment with GE Vernova’s strategic direction.
- Promote APM products actively within partner organizations to maintain top-of-mind awareness among key stakeholders.
- Differentiating GE Vernova’s solutions professionally in partner communities against competitors.
- Drive sales growth through effective partnership collaboration involving internal teams and customers.
- Communicate solutions’ business value tailored to individual buyers using discovery materials to support the sales process.
- Monitor ongoing delivery of partner-involved customer projects to ensure successful execution.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing for development of marketing materials including internal win stories and customer success narratives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, technology, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in professional services, alliances, software sales, commercial roles or relevant fields with proven success.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% within assigned regions.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate or master’s degree is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated passion for environmental sustainability and energy transition initiatives.
- Industry experience in equipment-intensive sectors such as downstream oil and gas, power generation, chemicals, or mining.
- Proven track record of surpassing sales and partner development targets.
- Skilled at establishing mutually beneficial business relationships.
- Experience in business development, strategic deal orchestration, sales operations, and negotiation with diverse stakeholders.
- Quick learner with proactive and creative problem-solving skills.
- Leadership style focused on collaboration and mutual success for GE Vernova, partners, and clients.
- Ability to communicate and influence diverse technical and non-technical audiences at various organizational levels.
- Familiarity with Solution Selling methodologies.
- High personal integrity and professional ethics.
- Adaptability and resilience in fast-moving and dynamic environments.
