Position Overview

We are looking to fill a part-time Building Cleaner role (20 hours per week), primarily at one of our apartment properties in St. Catharines, Ontario. The schedule includes working on some weekends. This vacancy is part of our existing staff needs.

Key Duties

• Maintain cleanliness of common building areas such as lobbies, elevators, stairwells, and windows, as well as amenity spaces like laundry and social rooms by sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Conduct thorough cleaning of vacant units, including appliances, walls, windows, kitchens, bathrooms, and balconies.
• Carry out exterior cleaning tasks including upkeep of underground garages, parking areas, service rooms, foyers, patios, and rooftops, tailored by property location, along with collecting loose debris.
• Notify the Resident Manager about any serious issues affecting the property's appearance, safety, or potential hazards.
• Work flexibly as required, including weekends, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Criteria

• Between one to two years of relevant cleaning or related experience.
• Strong customer service orientation paired with a friendly attitude.
• Physical capability to lift and move heavy items such as furniture, bins, and appliances.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well within a team setting.
