Role Overview

The Oracle Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle databases, ensuring their optimal performance, availability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Execute database administration duties including patching, backup operations, recovery procedures, and performance optimization for Oracle databases.
Set up and oversee Real Application Clusters (RAC) environments integrated with Data Guard for disaster recovery implementations.
Create and maintain PL/SQL scripts to automate tasks and apply changes to database schemas efficiently.
Monitor production database systems continuously to ensure high availability and respond swiftly to any operational incidents.
Diagnose and resolve problems related to Oracle Golden Gate replication across databases.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Possess 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA, working specifically with Oracle versions 10g, 11g, and 12c.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Any Specialization (B.Tech or B.E. is required).
Have a solid command of SQL, capable of developing complex and optimized queries.
Proficient in managing disaster recovery solutions utilizing Data Guard technology.
