About the Role
Join one of the fastest-growing premium food and beverage retail brands in the North West, known for its dedication to craftsmanship, attention to detail, and genuine care. As an Operations Manager, you will oversee an area consisting of 10 to 12 sites and play a pivotal role in transforming good sites into outstanding ones by developing leadership talent, enhancing operational standards, and driving impactful results across people, product, customer experience, and commercial performance.
This position requires a hands-on, on-the-ground leader who thrives in building relationships, coaching site managers, and constantly improving every location visited.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop site managers into exceptional leaders, creating a pipeline of talent for future promotions.
- Ensure operational excellence across all sites, focusing on production, quality, standards, availability, and waste management.
- Enhance every guest experience through insightful customer feedback and precise coaching.
- Maintain high standards for safety, facility upkeep, and audit preparedness, facilitating smooth new openings and refurbishments.
- Manage the financial performance of your area, including sales, profitability, labor, waste, and forecasting, as if it were your own business.
- Translate overarching strategy into clear, actionable weekly priorities for site managers.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven multi-site operations management experience ideally within pubs, restaurants, quick service restaurants or coffee outlets. The ideal candidate is commercially savvy and prioritizes people, preferring active involvement on the floor rather than desk work. You should excel at working autonomously, act with urgency, and take pride in mentoring teams to reach higher performance levels.
