About the Role
Our client, a distinguished hedge fund known for top-tier performance, outstanding training, and competitive employee compensation, is seeking a junior-level operations analyst to join their London-based team.
Key Responsibilities
The role encompasses a wide range of operational tasks including clearing, collateral management, handling relationships with prime brokers, and overseeing trade life cycle management. Approximately 30-40% of the position focuses on core project work, granting autonomy to develop, oversee, and improve key operational systems and processes for the London office. There will be opportunities to gain skills in Python, VBA, and SQL during the role.
Candidate Profile and Compensation
Although it is a junior role ideally suited for candidates with 2 to 4 years of experience, the compensation package is significantly higher than typical analyst roles, with total remuneration in the first year ranging from £125,000 to £175,000.
