About the Role
This opportunity is offered through a partner organization seeking an Onboarding Manager located in the United States. The role involves leading the implementation of enterprise healthcare technology solutions and supporting organizations through all phases of onboarding, ensuring effective adoption and value realization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive activation projects for strategic enterprise healthcare clients from initiation through long-term operations.
- Develop and refine standardized implementation methodologies and best practices.
- Design detailed implementation plans that align with client goals, schedules, workflows, and key performance benchmarks.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across IT, clinical, operations, and administration to facilitate smooth deployments.
- Configure and tailor solutions to fit specific healthcare workflows and customer needs.
- Create operational tools and dashboards using platforms such as Retool for enhanced implementation transparency and monitoring.
- Develop data pipelines, analytics, and reporting mechanisms employing SQL and visualization tools to track adoption and progress.
- Design and deliver training to providers, administrators, and operational staff to ensure successful solution uptake.
- Define, track, and report KPIs reflecting onboarding effectiveness and customer success.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders throughout activation phases.
- Create and update implementation documents, playbooks, and processes to improve scalability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to address technical obstacles and enhance customer experience.
- Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharing within onboarding teams.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts based on feedback, data analysis, and operational insights.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline is required.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in SaaS, healthcare technology, onboarding, implementation, or similar customer-focused roles.
- Demonstrated success managing complex enterprise onboarding projects from initial planning through deployment.
- Exceptional project management capabilities, adept at handling multiple strategic initiatives in parallel.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for interacting with executives and C-level stakeholders.
- Experience in enterprise change management and stakeholder engagement.
- Technical skills including proficiency with SQL, data analysis, and visualization software like Looker or Tableau.
- Capacity to grasp technical concepts, collaborate effectively with engineering teams, and translate business requirements into actionable solutions.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% of the time, with potential for up to 50% travel based on client demands.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant healthcare, technical, or business field.
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning technologies in healthcare.
- Knowledge of healthcare clinical workflows, operations, and electronic health record (EHR) systems, especially Epic.
- Experience using low-code platforms like Retool to develop operational tools and dashboards.
- Basic scripting skills in JavaScript and SQL for customization of implementation solutions.
- Background in clinical documentation, medical operations, or healthcare delivery environments.
