Role Overview
This position involves maintaining cleanliness and tidiness aboard trains during service hours, significantly enhancing passenger experience through diligent upkeep and attention to detail. The role entails working varied shifts between 5:30 AM and 11 PM, with an 8-hour shift duration.
Key Duties
- Carry out standard cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to keep the train interior clean and orderly.
- Regularly check and restock cleaning equipment and materials necessary for daily maintenance tasks.
- Operate onboard trains during transit, facilitating interaction with passengers and crew while maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be legally entitled to work in the UK.
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work night and weekend shifts.
