Job description
Overview
We are seeking a Saudi national.NET Developer with hands-on experience in crafting and supporting GIS-oriented applications. The role centers on designing web-based software, APIs, and GIS solutions by leveraging Microsoft .NET technologies, while seamlessly integrating these with spatial databases and mapping platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain applications utilizing C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API frameworks.
- Design and integrate GIS web applications along with interactive mapping features.
- Connect software solutions to ArcGIS platforms including Enterprise, Server, or Online services.
- Utilize Map Services, Feature Services, and ArcGIS REST APIs for spatial functionalities.
- Create and fine-tune spatial database queries to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to application functionality, integration, and performance.
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation adhering to software development best practices.
- Collaborate closely with GIS specialists, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
Qualifications
- Must be a Saudi national.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in .NET software development.
- Proven experience in developing or integrating GIS applications.
- Strong command of C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server databases.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, or ArcGIS Online environments.
- Understanding of spatial data handling, Map Services, Feature Services, and REST API usage.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and popular frontend frameworks like Angular or React is advantageous.
- Experience with version control (Git), IIS deployment, and troubleshooting application issues.
