About the Role

Picstol Studios is seeking a talented and technically skilled Motion Graphics Designer to enrich our creative team. The role entails developing captivating animated visuals that clearly express intricate ideas through compelling storytelling. You'll collaborate closely with other creative members to produce dynamic motion graphics tailored for diverse platforms and projects.

Responsibilities

Create advanced 2D and 3D motion graphics suitable for multiple platforms.
Design and animate branded materials, including title sequences and user interface animations.
Develop storyboards and style frames for client presentations.
Work in close partnership with art directors and creative colleagues.
Manage project organization and maintain orderly file systems.
Ensure all animation aligns consistently with brand guidelines.
Take part in client and internal feedback sessions.

Requirements

Between two to four years of professional experience in motion graphics design.
A robust portfolio showcasing a range of styles and technical proficiency.
In-depth expertise with Adobe After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite.
Proficiency in Cinema 4D or another comparable 3D software.
Strong grasp of core animation principles and timing.
Experience in typography and graphic design fundamentals.
Updated knowledge of current trends and techniques in motion design.
Capability to follow and implement brand guidelines and style guides.

Technical Skills

Expertise in Adobe After Effects is mandatory.
Proficient use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Familiarity with Cinema 4D or similar 3D animation tools.
Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is preferred.
Knowledge of TurbulenceFD, X-Particles, or equivalent plugins is an advantage.
Skills in expressions and scripting for animation is a plus.

Design Skills

A keen eye for effective composition, color balance, and typography.
Understanding of pacing and timing essential for animation flow.
Knowledge of animation principles relevant to UI/UX design.
Ability to construct cohesive design systems across animations.
