About the role

JUFA Hotels is seeking a Housekeeping team member for its hotel in Bernkastel-Kues. This is a year-round position available immediately, with the option to work part-time or full-time between 20 and 40 hours per week. The role is suited to someone who takes pride in spotless surroundings and enjoys helping create a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere for guests.

You will become part of a dedicated and energetic housekeeping team that helps keep the property in excellent condition through careful, consistent cleaning work.

Compensation and working conditions

• Starting gross pay is from €2,257 per month based on a 40-hour full-time schedule. Final pay will depend on qualifications and experience.
• Sunday work can bring an average additional gross amount of around €50 per month, with the potential for more depending on hours worked.
• Holiday pay and Christmas bonus are included.
• Sunday premium: 25%.
• Night premium: 30%.
• Part-time or full-time schedule: 20 to 40 hours per week.
• At least one weekend per month is guaranteed off.

Profile

• Previous experience as a cleaning employee in a hotel is helpful, but not required.
• A friendly approach toward colleagues and guests is important.
• You should enjoy cleanliness and order.
• The role calls for strong teamwork and careful, precise work.
• Flexibility is needed, including willingness to work weekends.
• Good German language skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out professional cleaning of hotel guest rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the hotel's public areas.
• Store and monitor cleaning materials and supplies properly.

Additional information

This position is a permanent, year-round role at the JUFA Hotel Bernkastel-Kues in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Employment can begin immediately.
