Overview
Seeking a full-time Millwright to work the graveyard shift from Monday through Friday, 4 PM to 2:30 AM, with opportunities for overtime and 12-hour shift coverage. The position is located in Brownsville, Oregon, and requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment malfunctions to ensure continuous operation.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs on the facility as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance routines and assist maintenance leadership in outage planning and execution.
- Install and configure manufacturing machinery and equipment, leading project planning for new equipment installations or major repairs.
- Operate hand and power tools such as drills, saws, torches, jacks, along with ladders, cranes, high lifts, and other maintenance apparatus.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and production teams regarding repair status and machine readiness.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of machines, equipment, and facility maintenance using Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
- Manage equipment, parts, and supplies inventory by monitoring stock levels, anticipating needs, placing orders, and expediting receipt.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational training strongly preferred.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting within industrial plant maintenance at a journeyman level; five to seven years preferred.
- Knowledge of state licensing limits for millwright and electrical work required; possession of Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) and Journeyman Millwright cards preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and PLC knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience with project planning, implementation, oversight, and preventive maintenance program management.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Skilled in safe, efficient troubleshooting and repairs using various power and hand tools, welding equipment, forklifts, and heavy machinery.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, work at heights, and access confined spaces.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS software.

Compensation
The hourly wage for this position is $31.00.
