Role overview
Whale Brands is hiring a Marketplace Manager in Maseru, Maseru District, Lesotho. The position reports to the Head of E-Commerce and focuses on building and managing a marketplace setup that can rapidly onboard new brands and expand sales across local and European marketplaces.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will help shape a scalable process for integrating new brands into existing local marketplace channels, grow visibility and revenue by launching on additional local and European marketplaces, and manage the day-to-day operation of marketplace accounts. You will also work on improving product listings and search rankings, as well as executing advertising campaigns.
Required experience and skills
The ideal candidate should have a background in product or brand management, along with at least 2 years of hands-on marketplace experience, preferably on Amazon. Experience with paid advertising, especially within Amazon, is important. The role also calls for strong analytical ability, stakeholder coordination skills, solid Excel knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Fluency in English is required, and German language ability would be an advantage.
