Role Overview
The Marketing Manager will define how IKEA engages customers in Singapore by turning business priorities, consumer insights, and market trends into compelling campaigns that boost brand affection, store visits, and sales. This role is responsible for weaving creative marketing, digital, and content strategies across various channels to ensure a cohesive and impactful customer experience while maintaining IKEA’s unique brand tone. The manager balances innovation with commercial savvy to enhance IKEA’s market share and advance its vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the creation and delivery of integrated advertising campaigns that align paid, owned, and earned media channels, leveraging local market opportunities.
- Lead the IKEA Family and IKEA Family Kids’ Club programs by designing loyalty campaigns and targeted communications to meet business goals.
- Drive strategic collaborations, sponsorships, and partnerships, working closely with internal teams and external partners to maximise brand and business outcomes.
- Manage market research insights, marketing budgets, and performance metrics to ensure measurable and insightful marketing investments.
- Develop and execute IKEA Singapore’s digital marketing approach across all digital and traditional marketing channels supporting commercial objectives.
- Supervise digital content governance, ensuring consistent, customer-centered messaging that reflects IKEA’s signature voice.
- Lead, support, and grow a high-performing marketing team that encourages collaboration and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
- At least 10 years of marketing experience with over 2 years in a senior leadership or strategic marketing role, demonstrating expertise in branding, performance marketing, creative direction, or strategic planning.
- Proven strength in performance, digital, and loyalty marketing strategies.
- Solid knowledge of brand development, storytelling, campaign creation, budget oversight, and creative leadership.
- Effective leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Creative yet strategically minded with strong commercial insight.
- Collaborative by nature, passionate about both customers and team members, and adept at thriving in dynamic or ambiguous settings.
- Experience influencing and coordinating cross-functional teams and multiple marketing projects simultaneously.
- Portfolio or demonstrated success in branding and marketing campaigns is advantageous.
- Ability to implement change and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders in evolving business contexts.
- Confident presenter able to communicate strategic marketing plans and business insights to senior executives and board members.
