Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing workflows and processes to increase efficiency.
• Create and enhance production layouts, work instructions, and relevant manufacturing documentation.
• Assist in new product introduction by establishing manufacturing processes and preparing production readiness plans.
• Analyze production metrics to pinpoint areas for quality, throughput, and efficiency improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts by applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles.
• Conduct root cause analyses and deploy corrective and preventive actions to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Formulate process validation plans and aid in equipment qualification processes.
• Work collaboratively with design, quality assurance, supply chain, and production teams to guarantee manufacturability and uphold product quality standards.
• Assess and adopt new manufacturing technologies, machinery, and automation to enhance processes.
• Ensure all manufacturing operations comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing engineering capacity.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes and production system optimization.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in process validation, root cause analysis, and quality enhancement techniques.
• Competence with CAD software and creation of manufacturing documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in automotive, aerospace, electronics, medical devices, industrial machinery, or semiconductor manufacturing sectors.
• Certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP solutions and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Knowledge of automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 innovations.
• Understanding of quality standards including APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, ISO 9001, or IATF 16949.
