Manufacturing Apprentice - Nutraceutical Manufacturing

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Apprentice to join the Nutraceutical Manufacturing team based in Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh. This 12-month apprenticeship program offers practical exposure to manufacturing, packaging, quality assurance, and compliance operations within a cGMP-regulated environment. Apprentices will collaborate closely with seasoned professionals to understand manufacturing workflows, quality systems, documentation practices, investigations, and continuous improvement activities while supporting daily production efforts at Herbalife and its Contract Manufacturing partners.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in diverse manufacturing and packaging processes, such as powder blending, granulation, compression, capsule filling, coating, stick pack and bottle filling, labeling, and packaging tasks.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply with cGMP standards throughout production activities.
• Support line clearance procedures, conduct in-process quality verifications, and monitor manufacturing parameters.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and housekeeping in production areas.
• Participate in routine GMP inspections covering manufacturing, warehouses, and utilities.
• Support compliance with cGMP, Good Storage Practices (GSP), food safety guidelines, and Herbalife Quality Systems.
• Ensure safety protocols and manufacturing regulations are consistently followed.
• Assist in upkeep of batch manufacturing records, logbooks, and documentation related to production.
• Record daily production observations, monitor follow-up actions, and maintain production and quality operation records.
• Contribute to tracking deviations, observations, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) implementations.
• Assist in documenting deviations and managing non-conformance incidents.
• Support root cause investigations under senior mentorship and coordinate with Contract Manufacturing partners and cross-functional teams during these processes.
• Engage in training opportunities to enhance understanding of manufacturing operations, quality systems, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Foster collaboration with Production, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and other teams to continuously improve operational knowledge.

Eligibility Requirements

• Possession of a bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Nutrition Science, Mechanical Engineering (preferably with exposure to the food industry), or M.Pharmacy.
• Fresh graduates or individuals with related internship or apprenticeship experience are invited to apply.
