Role Overview

This is a remote, full-time position for a Manager Planning who will be accountable for creating and updating detailed project schedules. The role requires coordinating planning efforts among engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project milestones and contractual commitments are met. Key daily responsibilities involve preparing work plans, analyzing progress, spotting scheduling risks, and recommending corrective measures. The Manager will collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to enhance resource allocation, assist with cost and time forecasting, and maintain precise planning documentation and reports. Continuous improvement of planning methodologies, tools, and standards across projects is also a critical part of this role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in project planning and scheduling, particularly using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering and construction processes, ideally within power, oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors.
• Experience with project controls including progress monitoring, forecasting, and risk assessment.
• Competency in analyzing project data and generating clear, concise planning reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Strong communication and collaboration capabilities to work effectively with remote, cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
• Educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline; certifications such as PMP or equivalent are advantageous.
• Demonstrated track record in planning or project management within engineering or construction environments.
• Adeptness with digital collaboration platforms and remote working practices.
