About the Role

As the Manager of People Analytics at Dentalcorp, reporting to the Senior Director of Operations Strategy & Insights, you will lead enterprise-wide workforce reporting and analytics. This role supports recruitment, performance, rewards, learning, talent management, operations, and organizational effectiveness. Providing timely and insightful data and analysis, you will empower leaders across a diverse, multi-location organization spanning Canada and the U.S. to make informed decisions and evaluate people-related investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver comprehensive people reporting, including weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports.
  • Create and maintain dashboards showing recruitment and workforce trends to provide visibility into organizational performance.
  • Track metrics such as open positions, time-to-fill, vacancy rates, recruiter productivity, and hiring pipeline status.
  • Apply statistical analysis to workforce data to validate hypotheses, quantify impacts, and detect meaningful trends.
  • Oversee turnover, retention, and workforce stability reporting, including monthly reviews and leadership reporting.
  • Analyze voluntary/involuntary turnover, regrettable losses, retention risks, tenure, and workforce movement.
  • Utilize Workday exit interview data alongside other sources to uncover root causes of turnover and identify retention opportunities.
  • Develop segmented reports (by region, role, tenure, leadership) to support targeted retention strategies.
  • Deliver accurate reports to leadership including People Leadership Team, SLT, CEO, and Board.

  • Support annual compensation reviews through data-driven recommendations.
  • Assess pay equity, internal equity, market competitiveness, and the effectiveness of reward initiatives.
  • Evaluate learning, leadership, and talent programs' success and return on investment.
  • Develop success metrics for leadership development, succession planning, and career progression programs.
  • Identify organizational effectiveness improvement opportunities using data-driven insights.
  • Connect workforce data to business outcomes and provide actionable recommendations on turnover, retention, and employee experience.
  • Identify emerging workforce risks and deliver predictive insights.
  • Create clear, user-friendly dashboards and visualizations applying strong data storytelling principles.
  • Maintain consistent metric definitions and ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Champion data governance and analytics maturity, improving automation and self-service reporting.
  • Serve as the People function's subject matter expert in people analytics and workforce reporting.
  • Build trusted partnerships with People, Recruitment, Operations Analytics, Finance, and business leadership teams.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in people analytics, workforce analytics, business analytics, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to develop intuitive dashboards and executive-level reports that are visually impactful and easy to use.
  • Strong data visualization and storytelling skills to simplify complex information.
  • Solid background in statistical and quantitative methods including trend analysis, regression, hypothesis testing, correlation, forecasting, and predictive modeling.
  • Advanced proficiency with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Workday Reporting, and Excel.
  • Experience working within complex distributed environments such as healthcare, retail, hospitality, franchises, or multi-site organizations.
  • Strong business acumen linking people data to operational and financial results.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills for engaging non-technical audiences.

Additional Information

This newly established role offers a salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 CAD annually, complemented by up to 15% bonus and comprehensive benefits. The position requires working onsite four days a week (Monday to Thursday) with a remote option on Fridays.
