Role Overview

Machine Learning Engineers at Valar Labs are responsible for developing clinical-grade AI solutions utilized globally by oncologists.

Key Duties

• Design and develop primary components of the deep learning platform
• Train deep learning models that are both robust and interpretable, addressing critical medical challenges
• Collaborate with medical oncologists to create specialized datasets that target key clinical questions
• Implement comprehensive deep learning solutions that span from initial research to deployment

Qualifications

• Published work in leading conferences or journals focusing on Medical AI
• Proficiency in building modular and reproducible machine learning platforms
• Strong grasp of PyTorch, PyTorch Lightning, and cloud infrastructure relevant to machine learning
• Proven experience deploying AI models in production environments
• Optional: familiarity with pathology data is advantageous
