Logistics Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Logistics Specialist to become part of our dynamic team serving a premier biotechnology client in Plano, TX. This position is contract-to-hire and involves managing all logistics and transportation activities at our facility.

Work Schedule and Location

The role is based onsite in Plano, TX, with working hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Duties

• Manage and supervise all shipping and receiving operations at the Plano location, supporting the Warehouse and Shipping staff.
• Create and enforce logistics strategies and standard operating procedures aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure alignment of logistics functions with overall business goals.

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in logistics, ideally within regulated industries or biotechnology sectors.
• Exceptional organizational capabilities and problem-solving skills with strong meticulousness.
• Familiarity with hazardous materials shipping protocols and international logistics is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with multiple teams.
