Role Mission

As the Global Planning Process Lead, your primary focus will be to enhance ASM’s worldwide planning capabilities by establishing standards that underpin long-term growth and operational excellence. You will collaborate with global process owners, IT departments, and cross-functional teams to improve system performance (SAP, Kinaxis), advance process harmonization, and heighten planning efficiency throughout all regions. Your contributions are vital to maintaining a resilient, data-informed supply chain ready to meet future semiconductor industry demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead comprehensive process mapping and standardization initiatives to simplify workflows and translate business needs into scalable digital solutions.
  • Maintain authority over global planning process standards and related business capability roadmaps, overseeing alignment from conceptual design to active adoption and continuous sustainability.
  • Identify, prioritize, and manage business requirements for end-to-end planning solutions, collaborating with IT, vendors, and stakeholders on design, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Set and govern standards for master data, business rules, process controls, performance metrics, and traceability to meet objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, cost-efficiency, and productivity.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing and Logistics teams to optimize processes and boost operational metrics.
  • Ensure that planning system capabilities are consistent with enterprise process standards, digital platform strategies, and desired business process designs.
  • Partner with global process owners, functional leaders, and IT to continuously refine system features, increase adoption, and mature process and platform capabilities.
  • Guarantee compliance of planning processes, controls, and system setups with corporate policies, regulations, and audit standards.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to leadership concerning process effectiveness, standardization possibilities, capability gaps, and ongoing improvement priorities.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects that utilize procedural, system, and operational data to enhance efficiency, visibility, decision-making quality, and business results.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in supply chain planning or related fields.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with SAP S/4HANA and Kinaxis Supply Chain Management platforms.
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain and procurement operational processes.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively across various time zones and cultural contexts.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills applicable in dynamic, high-variety environments.

Preferred Attributes

  • Track record of leading global transformation projects involving SAP S/4HANA and/or Kinaxis.
  • Knowledge of advanced supply chain models and digital tools for procurement.
  • Strong ability to influence and build consensus within a global matrix organization.
  • Excellent presentation skills suited for communicating insights to senior leadership.
