Role Overview

The Laundry Runner plays a vital role in managing linen, uniforms, and guest laundry operations. This position involves close interaction with laundry equipment and maintaining the linen room to ensure cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend duty on time, wearing clean, smart attire and presenting a well-groomed appearance.
• Complete sign-in and sign-out procedures at the start and end of shifts.
• Prepare and manage daily production documentation efficiently.
• Perform routine area preparation and inspect equipment to confirm proper working condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the work area before leaving.
• Ensure shutdown of steam pipes, switches, and main control panels during the last shift.
• Transfer soiled uniforms to the Linen Room responsibly.
• Adopt eco-friendly practices including reducing waste, recycling, and reusing materials as applicable.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least one year of laundry operations experience in a hotel with 200+ rooms or in a large commercial laundry setting.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Basic computer literacy to manage records and communications.
• Availability and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
