Role Overview

This full-time onsite position requires the performance of pressing, ironing, and finishing tasks on garments and linens to achieve high-quality results. Key duties include sorting laundry by fabric type, setting and managing appropriate equipment temperatures, eliminating wrinkles, and ensuring items are properly folded or hung ready for collection or delivery. The candidate will assess each garment for any stains or damages, adhere to quality and safety protocols, and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of workstations and equipment.

Working collaboratively with team members, meeting daily production targets, and addressing customer needs are essential functions of this role.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in laundry operations such as ironing, pressing, and garment finishing with strong attention to fabric care and detail.
• Capability to follow instructions, standard procedures, and safety regulations effectively, including the proper handling of pressing machines and related chemicals.
• Good physical endurance for standing long hours, performing repetitive tasks, and safely handling laundry bundles.
• Basic skills in time management and organization to meet daily goals and maintain a tidy workspace.
• Dependability, punctuality, ability to collaborate well within a team, and maintain respectful and customer-oriented communication.
• Prior experience in commercial laundry, dry cleaning, or hospitality fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to company processes, and uphold high levels of hygiene and personal appearance.
