Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and wear designated protective gear for each task.
- Inform supervisors immediately upon noticing any hazards, suspicious conditions, or areas for process improvements.
- Execute tasks assigned by the Laboratory Manager or supervisors, confirming completion upon finishing.
- Follow documented methods when performing procedures, or comply with oral instructions if written guidelines are unavailable.
- Ensure samples are organized and correctly identified; report any discrepancies to supervisors.
- Handle samples carefully to avoid loss, contamination, or mislabeling, and report any incidents promptly.
- Continuously monitor work quality, noting irregularities like reactive or problematic samples, and escalate to management as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation by completing forms and records with proper authorization.
- Operate laboratory equipment according to instructions, regularly checking calibration and reporting malfunctioning devices. Perform routine equipment maintenance as specified and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Propose potential method or operational enhancements to Laboratory or Quality Managers.
- Fulfill all documentation and record-keeping requirements in line with ISO 17025, INAB, and quality management systems.
Experience and Qualifications
No prior laboratory experience is necessary as full training will be provided; however, previous lab experience is considered advantageous.
Candidates should have completed full or partial secondary education, with the capability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written directions.
