Kronos Functional Consultant - Workforce Management

About the Role

We seek an experienced Kronos Functional Consultant specializing in Workforce Management to join our HR Technology team. The role involves optimizing, configuring, and integrating UKG/Kronos WFM solutions to meet operational and compliance needs across the enterprise, with particular emphasis on expertise in the Kronos Activity Module.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders from Operations, HR, and Payroll to collect and convert WFM requirements into efficient Kronos configurations.
• Lead the design, setup, and validation of Pay rules, accrual profiles, schedules, and employment terms configurations.
• Offer ongoing production support by resolving system issues and liaising with vendors as required.
• Manage system and user acceptance testing to ensure seamless business continuity.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation covering functional specifications, testing plans, and change management in accordance with governance standards.
• Continuously monitor system performance, proposing enhancements to improve user experience and process workflows.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Over 8 years' experience as a Kronos (UKG) Functional Consultant with solid expertise in the timekeeping module.
• In-depth knowledge of Kronos Dimensions, including timekeeping, scheduling, pay rules, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven proficiency in requirements gathering and hands-on configuration implementation.
• Established experience in thorough testing and troubleshooting within Kronos systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of HR and Payroll processes relating to time and attendance management.

Highly Advantageous

• Experience with Kronos Activity Module for labor tracking, cost distribution, or project time capture.
• Familiarity with workforce analytics and reporting capabilities embedded in Kronos.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background working in complex, multi-location, or unionized US environments with nuanced award or enterprise agreement interpretations.
• Practical experience in system upgrades, implementation across new sites, or global Kronos deployments.
