Kitchen Technician

Overview

YAEMCO LLC is looking to hire skilled Kitchen Technicians to join their team in Dubai, UAE. This is a full-time position requiring expertise in repair and maintenance of commercial kitchen appliances and refrigeration equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on various kitchen and refrigeration equipment including freezers, steam cookers, refrigerators, ice machines, washers, ovens, dryers, dishwashers, water coolers, and coffee machines.
• Conduct periodic inspections, cleaning, and servicing of equipment.
• Install new kitchen equipment and carry out repairs on leaks, wiring controls, and replacement of worn or defective parts.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair calls, including those after working hours.
• Adhere to other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Familiarity with a broad range of kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
• Understanding of kitchen duct cleaning procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for equipment repairs.
• Experience in repair and maintenance within commercial kitchens or retail stores.
• Strong plumbing repair and installation knowledge.
• Basic electrical theory, safety, and practices.
• Availability to work shifts when necessary.

Experience and Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years experience in facilities management industry, preferably within retail in UAE.
