Role Summary
The position of Kitchen Staff is a full-time, on-premises role located in Al Jubayl. Key duties include assisting in everyday food preparation, cooking, and meal plating according to predetermined menus and quality standards. It involves keeping the kitchen clean and orderly, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols, and aiding inventory management through correct ingredient and supply storage. The role also requires collaboration with team members to ensure prompt meal delivery, handling simple customer inquiries, and providing support during special occasions or peak service periods.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in food preparation and cooking with the capability to accurately follow recipes and serving sizes.
- Strong commitment to hygiene incorporating knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Good communication skills facilitating effective teamwork and coordination with supervisors.
- Customer service aptitude to enhance the dining experience during guest interactions.
- Prior experience in commercial kitchens, catering, or hospitality sectors is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, stand for long durations, and perform physical tasks safely.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills along with familiarity with kitchen equipment operation are preferred.
