About the Role
Join Las Iguanas as a Kitchen Porter and become an essential part of our lively kitchen team inspired by the rich flavors and culture of Latin America. The kitchen buzzes with energy and teamwork, and as a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all meal prep areas including ovens, grills, sinks, and stoves.
- Receive and unload food and equipment deliveries, storing items in their designated places.
- Ensure all work surfaces, floors, and walls are kept clean and hygienic.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks like peeling and washing ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of freezers, refrigerators, storage, and back-of-house spaces.
