Kitchen Helper

Overview

This position requires on-site work at the physical location; remote work is not an option.

Languages

English proficiency is necessary.

Education

Applicants should have completed secondary (high) school graduation.

Experience

Previous experience is not mandatory as training will be provided on the job.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment like dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• Operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware, and flatware.
• Organize and store cleaned dishes in designated storage areas.
• Hand wash and sanitize dishes and other items as needed.
• Utilize both manual and electrical appliances for cleaning, peeling, slicing, and trimming food items.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, appliances, and equipment.
• Receive, unpack, and properly store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage spaces.
• Manage removal of kitchen garbage and trash.
• Sharpen kitchen knives regularly.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as necessary.
