Role Overview

The Kitchen Helper supports kitchen activities by preparing food items following established recipes and quality benchmarks. This role involves assisting chefs with daily operations, ensuring hygiene, and maintaining kitchen standards.

Key Duties

• Prepare various food items in line with recipes and standard operating procedures.
• Support chefs and cooks in daily kitchen work including cutting, chopping, marinating, and cooking.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen environment.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Monitor storage and correct handling of raw materials.
• Assess the quality and freshness of ingredients used.
• Ensure the proper upkeep of kitchen tools, equipment, and utensils.
• Reduce food wastage by following portion control guidelines.
• Contribute to the preparation of customer orders to meet service timelines.
• Keep workstation clean and organized throughout shift hours.
• Comply with company policies and safety procedures as directed by supervisors.
• Collaborate effectively within the kitchen team environment.
• Perform additional kitchen duties assigned by the Chef or Outlet Manager.
