Junior Service Technician

About the Role

We are looking for a competent and experienced Service Technician to join our team located in Abu Dhabi. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on elevators and escalators to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in elevator and escalator systems.
• Carry out repairs and routine maintenance tasks on elevators and escalators.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to maintain optimal system performance and safety standards.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations and internal company standards during all activities.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance work and repairs undertaken.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding customer service.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of an ITI certificate, Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a Bachelor of Technology degree.
• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of proven experience within the elevator and escalator industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of elevator and escalator components and systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and repair methodologies.
• Knowledge of industry safety protocols and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to function effectively both independently and within a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
