About the Role
IDEC, a prominent design and engineering consultancy headquartered in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dedicated Junior Interior Designer for its Maadi, Egypt, back office. As part of our growing team, you’ll contribute to award-winning commercial, corporate, and residential projects throughout KSA.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative interior concepts, including mood boards and photorealistic 3D visualizations.
- Produce accurate 2D layouts, detailed elevation drawings, section details, and comprehensive joinery shop drawings.
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material specifications, and finish schedules to support project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and project managers in Saudi Arabia to ensure timely delivery of client-ready design documents.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Fine Arts.
- Has 0 to 2 years of experience in interior design or technical office work. Recent graduates and junior candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Expertise in AutoCAD for technical drawings and shop drawings.
- Proficient in 3Ds Max and either Corona or V-Ray for advanced rendering tasks.
- Advanced skills in Photoshop for post-production work and creating mood boards.
- Sound knowledge of interior materials, lighting concepts, and furniture details.
- Well-versed in preparing BOQs and specifying materials accurately.
- Strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
