Junior Associate Accountant

The employer is developing a financial infrastructure platform that connects banking, payments, remittances, wallets, compliance tools, and tokenized asset systems across the Morocco-to-Malaysia corridor. Its network supports stablecoin-based settlement, multi-currency banking rails, cross-border transfers, programmable treasury movement, fiat and stablecoin infrastructure, and card/wallet capabilities in more than 125 countries.

Role Overview

This entry-level accounting position supports the finance function by keeping records accurate, helping with reconciliations, and contributing to reporting and compliance work. The role is suited to someone with a solid grasp of core accounting concepts, strong accuracy, and comfort using Excel and accounting software. A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and interest in the fast-moving crypto and financial technology space are important.

Key Responsibilities

• Support reconciliation of bank accounts across several currencies and business entities.
• Help reconcile client money accounts on a daily basis.
• Contribute to month-end closing activities.
• Assist with payment processing and payment tracking when needed.
• Help consolidate financial information across multiple entities.
• Support audit-related work involving regulators such as VARA, ADGM, and LFSA.
• Carry out additional finance-related tasks and requests as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, including GAAP or IFRS.
• Comfort using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to handle several tasks at once.
• Willingness to learn, contribute, and grow with the team.
• Interest in finance and accounting; familiarity with cryptocurrency is an advantage.
