Junior Artworker

Role Overview

This junior-level position involves working closely with our artwork team and the internal marketing department. It is ideal for individuals who have a sound understanding of the artwork creation process and thrive in a team environment. The successful candidate will take briefs and requests, transforming them into complete visual layouts, and prepare these artworks for both print and digital applications across the Dexters Group's 25 brands.

Reporting and Location

The role reports directly to the Design & Artwork Manager and is based in Clapham Junction. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM in the office.

Compensation

The salary range is £28,000 to £30,000 annually, dependent on the candidate's experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Create artwork for print and digital media projects.
• Develop and edit video content using Adobe After Effects.
• Design and update marketing collateral such as property brochures, direct mail pieces, and forms.
• Offer creative input for brand campaign initiatives.
• Design digital components including GIFs for websites and social media platforms.
• Produce customized signage including boards, hoardings, and vinyl displays.
• Participate in rebranding projects linked to new business acquisitions.

Essential Requirements

• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
• Familiarity with technical printing standards including bleeds, resolution, file formats, and color modes (CMYK & RGB).
• Capability to juggle multiple projects effectively while meeting deadlines.
• Collaborative team player comfortable working independently and as part of a group.
• Willingness to support the broader artwork team as needed.
