Job Details

Position available: Part-time or Full-time
Work shifts during evenings
Compensation: $15 per hour
Weekly pay schedule

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain all floor types through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
Adhere to proper procedures when using chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage
Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entrance areas
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly, including using compactors when applicable
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using suitable cleaners and tools
Perform spot cleaning on carpets and assist with carpet extraction and shampooing tasks
Replenish supplies such as paper products and sanitary items
Follow an established housekeeping schedule
Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
Complete additional duties assigned according to client requirements or scope of work

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of janitorial experience
Willingness to undergo on-the-job training
Keen attention to detail
Ability to comprehend and follow instructions accurately

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services
Knowledge of custodial best practices and commercial cleaning standards
Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing
Background in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
