Overview

UniTech Office Solutions Ltd is urgently seeking skilled IT Technicians to join our team supporting customers throughout Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to end users, installing and configuring IT systems, and maintaining network security standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hardware and software maintenance and technical support to end users
• Install and set up IT equipment ensuring proper configuration
• Maintain and enforce network security protocols
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software related issues
• Investigate reported problems thoroughly and implement effective solutions
• Maintain detailed records of support calls, requests, and corrective actions taken

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Systems Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong computer proficiency and advanced technical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel as required

Additional Information

Candidates will be evaluated based on their knowledge, skills, experience, and capabilities. The role also requires managing their assigned territory, maintaining parts inventory, and completing detailed service call reports. Candidates should be mechanically inclined and possess foundational computer and networking knowledge. The position requires overseeing or directly installing equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
