Job Overview

The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for comprehensive technical support across multiple company sites, focusing on the efficient operation of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and networks. The position entails maintaining IT resources, addressing technical challenges, collaborating with internal teams, clients, and vendors, and minimizing IT downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support and troubleshoot IT issues promptly.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components.
Manage IT assets and maintain an accurate inventory record.
Monitor hardware status at various locations to ensure optimal operation.
Coordinate with vendors to manage hardware repairs and maintenance.
Offer fundamental support for servers and networks.
Administer user accounts and assist with access rights management.
Liaise with clients regarding software-related problems.
Maintain IT documentation and prepare regular reports.
Ensure adherence to IT security policies and procedures.
Collaborate with team leaders and zonal leads to align IT services with business needs.

Qualifications and Skills

Basic understanding of hardware, software, networking, and server technologies.
Proven experience in desktop and laptop troubleshooting and IT support.
Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and managing user accounts.
Strong communication abilities coupled with effective problem-solving skills.

Educational Requirements and Experience

Possession of a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related disciplines.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalents are advantageous.
Experience ranging from 1 to 3 years in IT Support, Desktop Support, or System Administration roles.
Preferably experienced in supporting IT operations across multiple sites.

Location: Belapur, Navi Mumbai

Salary Range: ₹22,000 to ₹25,000 per month
