Job description
About the Role
Are you eager to do more than just handle helpdesk tickets and want to establish your own IT domain? We are a modern notary office located in Bietigheim-Bissingen, proudly dedicated to delivering high-quality client service. Our focus is on providing personalized and efficient support in all notarial matters.
We are looking for a motivated IT generalist (m/f/d) who will act as the engine driving our digital transformation, not just a "computer fixer in the basement." Since this position is newly created, you will enjoy maximum freedom to implement your ideas. Your role includes user support, process optimization, and managing external vendors.
Enjoy a role offering great variety complemented by a genuine 38-hour workweek!
Benefits and Working Conditions
- A true work-life balance guaranteed by your employment contract.
- 38-hour workweek and 30 vacation days annually.
- High flexibility with adjustable work hours and options for full-time or part-time home office.
- Competitive salary package including travel expense allowances and company pension scheme.
- Team culture reinforced by structured onboarding, regular corporate events, and a respectful work environment.
Candidate Profile
- Educational background: Completed IT training (e.g., IT system electronics technician, IT specialist) or a highly IT-competent career changer from a law firm environment.
- Technical expertise: Skilled in IT administration and proficient in 1st and 2nd level user support.
- Work approach: A proactive "improver" who not only follows instructions but independently identifies problems and delivers effective solutions.
- Personal traits: Views IT as a tool to serve people, demonstrating strong communication skills and patience.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the central figure in all digital matters within the notary office.
- Drive process improvements and small-scale IT projects, including hardware and software procurement.
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support, train users, and coordinate complex issues with external service providers.
- Manage system administration, including application handling, update deployment, access rights management, and workstation setup.
- Develop an IT knowledge base to document best practices and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Additional Information
If you want to elevate the IT infrastructure of a law firm, we look forward to receiving your application!
