Job Overview

The IT Specialist role at Al-Qadsiah involves supporting, maintaining, and improving the club's IT infrastructure. This position ensures uninterrupted IT operations in the club’s offices, training centers, and sporting venues, offering dependable and secure technology support to staff, coaches, and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical assistance for hardware, software, networks, and IT systems throughout the club.
• Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, servers, printers, and mobile technology.
• Oversee and monitor network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi to guarantee secure and reliable connectivity.
• Support technology used in sports operations, such as match-day systems, video analysis tools, and access control mechanisms.
• Maintain data security protocols, perform backups, and develop disaster recovery plans.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Collaborate with external vendors and IT service providers to acquire and maintain IT equipment and services.
• Document IT procedures, system setups, and troubleshooting guides.
• Assist in planning and executing new IT systems and upgrades.
• Ensure adherence to club policies, cybersecurity regulations, and IT best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in IT support or as an IT specialist.
• Proficiency with Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
• Experience with networks, servers, and IT security concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software challenges.
• Effective communication and customer service capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in sports organizations, stadiums, or event environments.
• Understanding of CCTV, access control, and audiovisual technology systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Basic knowledge of databases and system integration techniques.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including event or match days.
