Role Summary

We are seeking a competent IT Officer to oversee and maintain the IT infrastructure at our Container Freight Station in Mombasa. This role demands strong technical expertise, effective problem-solving skills, and experience in supporting IT systems and networks within a logistics or related environment.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Manage and support IT infrastructure and systems including hardware, software, networks, and security.
• Perform regular maintenance, system upgrades, and ensure robust IT security at the facility.
• Collaborate proactively to resolve technical issues under pressure and maintain operational continuity.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are essential.
• Previous experience in IT support or administration, ideally within the logistics sector or similar industries.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are critical.
