Investor Relations Associate

Overview

Our client, a prominent global alternative investment manager specializing in credit across multiple sectors—including private credit, liquid credit, asset-based finance, and real estate—is seeking to onboard an Investor Relations Associate into their Business Development & Investor Relations team based in London.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain comprehensive expertise on the firm's Private Credit product offerings.
• Assist in creating marketing and investor materials such as flipbooks, performance reports, and market commentaries.
• Analyze external market research to detect trends and potential opportunities.
• Work alongside senior business development professionals to nurture institutional investor relationships.
• Oversee the sales pipeline and support sales activities from initial contact through closing.
• Coordinate with departments including Product, Investor Relations, Fund Management, Legal & Compliance, and Investment teams.
• Handle incoming investor queries and requests for literature.
• Keep the CRM updated with all sales-related interactions.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a bachelor's degree with 1.5 to 3 years of experience, preferably in investment banking.
• Possesses a strong understanding of financial markets and alternative investment products.
• Demonstrates advanced quantitative and technical skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects efficiently.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated, intellectually curious, with a strong work ethic and integrity.
• Thrives in fast-paced, deadline-oriented settings.
• Able to switch fluidly between strategic oversight and detailed execution.
