Role Summary
Based in Mississauga, Ontario, the Project Manager will oversee all phases of relocating the Bag-in-Box manufacturing facility. This role demands strategic planning, coordination, and management to guarantee the project is finished safely, on schedule, within financial constraints, and meets top quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Direct the full scope of relocating the Canadian Bag-in-Box manufacturing site, guaranteeing adherence to timelines, budgets, safety, and quality benchmarks.
- Create, update, and implement comprehensive project plans incorporating milestones, timelines, resource allocation, critical path analysis, and risk management.
- Collaborate with internal teams, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless project workflow.
- Manage setup of the new facility including equipment relocation, installation, commissioning, and production ramp-up, minimizing operational disruptions.
- Track and report on key metrics such as progress, budget adherence, schedule, and risk factors while promptly addressing potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies as well as health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain strong communication and relationships with internal groups and external partners to drive alignment and manage supplier performance.
- Provide regular updates and presentations to senior leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or another relevant technical field.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale industrial, capital investment, or manufacturing projects; relocation experience preferred.
- Excellent skills in project planning, organization, and stakeholder management with the ability to balance multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem solver with a proactive, solution-driven approach and hands-on mentality.
- Exceptional communication and influencing capabilities; able to collaborate across cross-functional teams and external entities.
- Comfortable adapting to dynamic, fast-moving environments with resilience and flexibility.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Project or other project management software.
Compensation and Additional Notes
