About the Role

Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals dedicated to providing non-medical, in-home care aimed at enhancing clients' comfort, dignity, and independence. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized non-medical care following each client’s Plan of Care.
• Offer companionship via conversation, reading, engaging activities, and social interaction.
• Support clients' emotional health and maintain their mental sharpness.
• Carry out light housekeeping tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Prepare meals as needed.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ physical, emotional, or mental conditions.
• Maintain professional, clear communication with clients and team members.
• Accurately complete all required documentation within deadlines.
• Participate actively in training, staff meetings, and ongoing educational opportunities.
• Uphold client confidentiality and ensure safe use of equipment.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a high school diploma as a minimum educational qualification.
• Current CPR & First Aid certification or willingness to obtain/maintain it.
• Completion of a Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with insurance is preferred.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing quality client care.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills, with capability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrated passion for helping others, exhibiting high standards of honesty and integrity.

Physical and Environmental Conditions

• Involves regular physical activity such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, and light lifting up to 12 kg (25 lbs).
• Requires manual dexterity and physical strength in both hands.
• Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens or infectious diseases.
