Housekeeper

Position Overview

Join David Lewis as a Housekeeper to contribute meaningfully by maintaining a welcoming and hygienic residential environment for adults with complex needs. This role is based in Cheshire and involves 37.5 hours of work per week, with occasional flexibility including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards of cleanliness in bedrooms, kitchens, communal spaces, and bathrooms within residential services.
• Manage laundry and general household duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals and snacks aligned with individual dietary requirements.
• Maintain kitchen safety and hygiene, adhering to food hygiene regulations.
• Order and oversee household and catering inventory to prevent shortages.
• Create a warm, friendly, and homely atmosphere for the individuals supported.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or catering environments.
• Well-organized, dependable, and takes pride in delivering quality work.
• Ability to safely and hygienically prepare basic meals.
• Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively in team settings.
• Genuine passion for fostering safe and supportive living spaces.

Additional desirable qualifications include experience in care environments, knowledge of food hygiene, and COSHH awareness; however, the right attitude and reliability are paramount.
