Overview

Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join their team in Rayleigh, England. This role offers the opportunity to remain active, independent, and engage directly with customers as the representative of a leading grocery company. The position offers an hourly wage of £13.71 along with various employee benefits.

Responsibilities

• Safely load the delivery van, including heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
• Adhere to safe driving practices at all times
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks before beginning deliveries
• Ensure that groceries arrive at customers’ homes in excellent condition
• Deliver outstanding customer service during every interaction
• Assist in-store duties when necessary
• Manage your schedule independently and effectively
• Work a flexible shift pattern which may vary between 6am and 11pm

Requirements

• Valid full UK driving license held for at least three years with fewer than six penalty points
• Positive, friendly demeanor with a passion for excellent customer service
• Punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines consistently
• Strong commitment to road safety awareness
