Home Delivery Driver

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Home Delivery Drivers to join our team at a leading retail company known for excellent customer care and strong employee support. This role involves delivering groceries directly to customers, ensuring safe and timely deliveries, and representing the company positively in the community.

Responsibilities

• Follow correct procedures to load the van safely, including heavy lifting and manual handling when required.
• Drive responsibly, adhering strictly to all road safety regulations and company practices.
• Perform routine vehicle checks each day to ensure the delivery van is in good working condition.
• Maintain the quality and condition of food deliveries to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Deliver outstanding customer service during all deliveries and assist in-store duties as needed.
• Work efficiently and independently, managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
• Be flexible to work shifts between 6am and 11pm, with varying patterns.

Requirements

• Hold a full driving licence for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Demonstrate a positive, friendly attitude with a passion for providing excellent customer experiences.
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines consistently.
• Exhibit strong awareness and commitment to road safety principles.
