Home Delivery Driver (Inside M25)

About the Role

We are seeking motivated Home Delivery Drivers to join our team in Woolwich, offering an hourly rate of £15.09. This role involves active delivery duties, representing our brand, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. Successful candidates will take pride in their independence and customer interactions, ensuring shopping deliveries arrive safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Load delivery vans safely, performing necessary heavy lifting and manual handling with care.
• Abide by safe driving protocols and regulations at all times.
• Carry out thorough vehicle checks before and during operation.
• Maintain the quality of food products during transportation, ensuring they reach customers in optimal condition.
• Deliver friendly, helpful customer service as the public face of the company.
• Assist with store duties as needed.
• Work independently while efficiently managing delivery schedules and time.
• Adapt to shift patterns between 6am and 11pm as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full driving license held for a minimum of three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Positive attitude with a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Strong punctuality and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Demonstrated commitment to road safety principles.
