About the Role
We are inviting applications for an experienced Band 3 Health Care Support Worker to become part of a committed and enthusiastic nursing team on Ward 4 at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline. The ward has 18 mixed sex beds dedicated to the ongoing assessment, care, and treatment of older adults diagnosed with dementia.
Job Responsibilities
As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver therapeutic, person-centered care working closely with registered nurses, medical professionals, and allied health staff to optimize patient outcomes. Your approach must be trauma-informed, ensuring respectful, compassionate treatment that preserves patient dignity, confidentiality, and acknowledges individual needs and differences. You will actively participate in patient assessments and comprehensive care delivery grounded in evidence-based practice, working both independently when required and collaboratively within the team.
