About the Role

We are collaborating with a prominent organization based in Eastern Saudi Arabia to recruit a seasoned Head of IT. This confidential position offers the chance to provide visionary technological leadership and spearhead the implementation of advanced, secure, and efficient IT solutions across a multifaceted industrial business.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement a comprehensive IT, ERP, and technology roadmap aligned with strategic business goals.
• Lead and oversee IT operations, enterprise-wide systems, infrastructure, and transformative technology projects.
• Ensure uninterrupted IT services that support vital business functions.
• Manage IT infrastructure including networks, servers, applications, and operational technology environments.
• Maintain robust connectivity and technical support for remote and widely distributed sites.
• Champion innovation using emergent technologies such as cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), AI-enhanced analytics, and digital platforms.
• Drive ERP strategy and optimize enterprise applications, working closely with major software vendors like SAP and Oracle.
• Develop comprehensive cybersecurity measures, governance frameworks, data management policies, and business continuity plans.
• Oversee disaster recovery planning, system resilience strategies, and mitigate technology-related risks.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree in Information Systems Management or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Minimum 15 years' progressive experience in IT, including 5 to 7 years in senior leadership roles such as Head of IT or IT Director.
• Proven capability in managing ERP deployments and support, especially with SAP or Oracle platforms.
• Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, operational technology, and enterprise systems management.
• Experience in complex, distributed, or remote operational settings.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity, IT governance, data administration, and business continuity methodologies.
• Track record of managing large-scale IT projects, budgets, vendors, and technology partnerships.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL Expert, CISSP, or CISM considered beneficial.
• Experience with industrial sectors including manufacturing, engineering, or infrastructure is a plus.
