Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper zoning in the grocery department to ensure it is always prepared for customers.
• Regularly rotate stock and remove expired or damaged goods to uphold product freshness and quality.
• Accurately price and label merchandise, following established procedures for ordering, pricing, clearance, markdowns, and signage.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to sustain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Keep shelves fully stocked, perform downstocking if needed, apply product protection, and set up modular displays including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Comply with all health and safety policies to maintain a secure, clean, and hazard-free workplace.
• Be flexible with shift timings including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support store operations.

Challenges in the Role

• Manage high workloads efficiently in a fast-paced environment, particularly during overnight shifts, while maintaining energy and focus.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing long hours, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out consistent repetitive activities like stocking, zoning, and organizing with attention to detail to preserve store standards.
